I have Played competitive badminton for over 30 years in local and county leaguesin the midlands area.
I am a Coach Part 2 level coach and I actively run a junior badminton club (South Birmingham Juniors) at Colmers leisure centre as Head Coach, this has been going for 14 years with other Colmer Farm club coaches.
I currently captain Colmers Farm Mens team and I am the coach manager for the Colmers Junior Worcs team, providing match experiences for players between 11 and 15 years of age.
We feed young players from junior section into the Performance centre programme,
providing players with coaching and tactical /technical skills to play social and
competitive badminton in local junior and senior leagues and tournaments.
I also currently coach at the West Mids PC with Raw Talent and Developing players,
providing a high standard of performance badminton for tournaments and county teams.I also run junior tournaments for Colmers and assist in PC tournaments.
As a coach I am approachable, open to all coaching methods, always giving full support
to players, parents and provide player profiles for players to develop further into
high quality badminton players.
